Gather: An In Depth Look

I told everyone about Gather in a previous post, which you can find here: Paid to Chat. This only gave a little of an overview. I would like to go more into that today. First of all Gather is a free community that you can actually earn gift cards and money through. It is completely free. There are many ways to increase your earnings. First of all, you should invite as many friends and family members as you can. This will get you lots of points and also you will be helping them earn money too. Next you can find friends on the site. Many people will accept friendships with you if you have the same interests.It is easy to find people, you just need to explore.You can find many through joining groups, reading articles, viewing their pictures and videos, and many other ways.

Next you should find groups that you would like to be involved in. You can find them easily by searching keywords, or just through browsing. For example, I have a group that anyone can join and post too. You can view it here: Point Go Getters. As you can see this is a post anything group. There are so many groups on the site, you can find one that you are truly interested in. For example I have joined over 100 groups and they are a wide range of topic. I have joined post anything, crafts, and many freebie groups. These are all fun!

Next you will need to post things. You can post a wide variety of articles, pictures, and videos. It is not only a great way to earn you points, but also you gain friendships and have a lot of fun doing so. Just make sure yo are posting things that people will read The better the article, the more views and comments yo will see. For instance, one of my highest viewed articles is about euthanasia. You can view it here. I have received over 850 views for this one.

Another great way to earn points is to view, comment, and rate other peoples stuff. You can leave simple comments, voice your opinion, or anything else. Just please be respectful. It is not nice to be disrespectful of others, just because you don't agree. You will make more friends by being nice! Overall this is an excellent site to use to earn some extra money! Ways to Make More Money with Yuwie!

First of all you will need to have a Yuwie Account, click the banner below to sign up if you d not already have an account.



Next you will need to add lots and lots of friends. The more friends you have the more age views you will get. You can find a lot of Friend Trains at different sites. A couple of these are below.

You can easily add many friends this way. They will see your name and add you and you can add all the ones that are in front of you.

Next you will want to refer as many people as you can. All you need to do is tell people about it. Who doesn't want free money?

Next add some nice pictures to your profile. You ca even make your page a celebrity fan page. These bring in a lot of hits. If you want to you can also add sexy pics. This is a great way to get people interested in your page. Join groups too. The more people you talk to and comment on the more page views you will get. This is an easy way to earn extra money. Some people make $100s a month. Just keep it up and see if it works for you.

Paid To Chat

There are many sites that are out there that you can actually get paid to chat with people. The first site I want to tell you about is Yuwie. It is a social networking site similar to MySpace, but you get paid for your page views. It's pretty cool because you can really rack up a lot of earnings. I will go into that more tomorrow. Th site I want to tell you about is MyLot. They are another site that is very fun to use. You get paid to post new questions and answer other peoples questions. You can also get paid to do tasks now. My favorite is Gather. You get paid to post, join groups, comment, upload pics and videos. It is just a fun site. They have a great way to get t know others. This is my top earner in this category. Once you have your blog or blogs up and running and they have been open for 90 days there are many sites that you can use to make your blog even mre profitable.

Monetizing Your Blog

There are so many ways to monetize your blog. IF you signed up with the previous post, you already know about Google AdSense. Well there are more options out there than just this one. Some of them will not accept you if your blog is not older and established. Don't be discouraged. They will most likely accept you later when you have lots of posts and views.
The first one that I use is Max Bounty. Their banner is below. It i very easy to get accepted into this one, just feel out the form honestly.




Th next one that is great is Linkshare. You can sign up by clicking the banner below.



The next one is Pepperjam. This is one that is affiliate marketing.




Chitika is a great one too because it only displays ads to your search traffic. So your regular readers are not bothered by them.






Share A Sale is another one that can be used. I have not been accepted into this one yet, so the link to sign up with is here.



Never Blue Ads is one that a friend of mine uses. I haven't been able to get accepted yet either, but here is a link.


A very different way to monetize is through Indeed. They actually let you post a job roll of available jobs. If you would like to sign up for this one here is a link. I do use this one!

Link Worth is another one that I am starting to use. You have to have a blog that has many posts before you sign up for this one.



The Ad Network is another one that my friend uses. You can check it out here. They actually pay you to sign up. I haven't been accepted into this one yet!

Picking a Blogging Topic

When starting a blog it is important to find a topic that your readers will love. It should also be something that you enjoy writing about or you will get bored quickly and the blog posts will get worse over time. I have 7 blogs that I am regularly updating. These are topics that interest me and offer something to the readers. You can consider all sorts of topics. For example I have a blog that is devoted to everything free. It's all about how to get free samples. I actually give information on at least 5 free samples a day. Updating regularly keeps the readers coming back. Pick a topic that you are passionate about and the possibilities are endless.
